At Tonza, we believe in teaching children not only how to learn but how to care. Each year, we proudly organize a Community Give-Back Day, where our team, children, and families come together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Once a year, Tonza Play carries out a special outreach activity to give back to our community. This could include:
- Donating food, toys, or clothes to local children's homes
- Visiting community centers or hospitals to share joy and supplies
It’s a powerful way to teach kindness, empathy, and responsibility values we want every Tonza child to carry with them beyond the classroom. We also invite families to participate in planning, contributing, and volunteering during these events, making it a truly shared and meaningful experience.
Our first community work took place in 2024. We did charity at Naguru, China Uganda Friendship hospital, where we gave out clothes for mothers who had just given birth, clothes for children, soap, pampers, gloves with help from the parents
