At Tonza, our story began with a simple idea: that children deserve a space where they feel safe, joyful, and inspired to learn through play. As parents ourselves, we knew just how important the early years are, and how powerful a nurturing, play-based environment can be for a child’s development.What started as a small playgroup among friends has blossomed into the Tonza you know today: a vibrant early childhood centre where children are loved, encouraged, and allowed to grow at their own pace.

We believe that play is not just enjoyable, it’s essential. Through play, children build confidence, strengthen language and social skills, and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. With a dedicated team that shares our vision and values, Tonza continues to be a place where curiosity is celebrated, imagination is encouraged, and growth is nurtured every day.

As our community has grown, so has our curriculum. Beginning at 2.5 years of age, children at Tonza Preschool are gently introduced to early literacy and numeracy. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, we foster the development of reading, writing, and foundational math skills, all while honouring each child’s natural desire to explore and play.
