I’ve always subscribed to the playgroup model as i view it as a great way for them to socialise and develop important skills at an early stage. When did your child join Tonza play? 2 of my children joined Tonza at the point of its inception in June 2024. Right now, 1 has transitioned to a preschool, whereas my last born, who turns 2 soon, is in the TOTs class. Why did u choose to enroll your child into play group and what are the benefits? My children were attending the homebased playgroup and moved to TONZA play when it established a physical location. The key benefits include; 1. Socialization - Through interacting with children of similar ages, it has helped them develop social skills, such as sharing, taking turns, empathy and care. 2. I believe it is providing a nurturing environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for our babies and toddlers. I have seen my boys come from timid to confident, shy to lively and able to fit into new environments seamlessly which gives me peace of mind. What has been your experience at Tonza play so far? I love it. The teachers, the management, the facilities and curriculum are all unique compared to what is available on the market. TONZA has excellent customer care and their proactiveness shows true passion and dedication for what they are doing.

My name is Natasha Musinguzi, and my daughter has been part of Tonza Play from the very beginning. Before Tonza officially opened, we participated in playgroups organized by parents and Teacher Bridget. My daughter joined playgroup at one and a half and transitioned to Tonza Play just after her second birthday. Since then, Tonza Play has been the highlight of her day! Tonza Play has been an amazing experience for our daughter. She loves her time there and looks forward to it. My name is Rachel Nyatworo, also known as Mama Mesha. When did your child join Tonza play? Mesha was one of the first kids that joined Tonza when it opened in Jan 2024. Why did you choose to enroll your child in a playgroup? What are the benefits? As an only child at home, I wanted Mesha to interact with other children and learn how to socialize with peers and people outside our immediate family. I also wanted him to be engaged in more constructive activities, particularly ones that involve physical movement to help stimulate brain development. One of my biggest hopes was that his eating habits would improve, and I’m happy to say that Tonza Play has played a significant role in this. Why did you choose Tonza Play? Choosing Tonza Play was an easy decision for me because it felt like a home away from home. The facilities were welcoming, and I appreciated the variety of play stations that Mesha could explore. My initial interactions with the teaching staff reassured me that he would not only learn but also thrive in a nurturing environment. I was confident that Mesha would be encouraged to be himself while engaging in activities like dress-up, music, and games that would help foster his imagination and creativity. Watching Mesha grow more confident over time has been a joy, and I credit Tonza Play for providing such a positive and enriching experience. How has your experience been at Tonza Play so far? My name is Nunu, Yozuwe’s Mum. We enrolled Yozi at Tonza Play in January of 2024, when he was just 14 months old. At that age, we were looking for a safe and nurturing environment where he could socialize, play, and learn. Playgroups are so beneficial at this stage - they encourage social interaction, help develop communication skills, and foster independence in a fun and engaging way. We chose Tonza Play because of its convenient location, trustworthy management, excellent facilities, and well-rounded curriculum. The classes are not crowded, the children get the attention and care they need to thrive. Our experience at Tonza Play has been wonderful so far. Yozi is always happy to go to school, he is very fond of the staff which speaks volumes about the warmth and care that they give. The teachers and caregivers are not only lovely and attentive but also great at communicating with parents. We have been thrilled to see Yozi hitting many developmental milestones early in the stimulating and supportive environment at Tonza Play. Before joining TONZA Playgroup, Arel was very reserved and struggled with social interactions. He wouldn’t play with other children, was fearful of people, and would often cry if anyone simply looked at him. He was so attached to his nanny that he wouldn’t go anywhere without her or his comfort blanket. Since enrolling in TONZA, the transformation has been incredible. Arel has become more confident, started engaging with other kids, and is now comfortable around new faces. The nurturing and supportive environment at TONZA has helped him overcome his fears and build his social skills in ways I never imagined. From the time we joined Tonza, our house has been filled with jolly songs that have been taught to our daughter by very committed and driven teachers. What is particularly noteworthy about Tonza Play is the personal attention given to each child, which results in progress reports that address not only my child’s early learning skills but her behavioural growth as well. Tonza takes playbased learning to the next level, offering a fun, active and child-friendly atmosphere every day.
